Somebody needs to create a trainer that turns off the drunk effect every few cycles. I’m sure a few bar visits would provide enough instances to narrow it down.
Deleting GTAIVGDF.dll doesn’t work either.. Grr.
1.) You will need the new .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5, get it here: “http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=ab99342f-5d1a-413d-8319-81da479ab0d7&displaylang=en”
2.) Once install of “.NET FRAMEWORK 3.5″ is complete, restart computer.
3.) Run the original LaunchGTAIV.exe to pass the release date check, be connected to internet
4.) copy the cracked paul.dll into the main game folder, NOT the OfflineActivation folder
5.) Disconnect from the internet, Control Panel > Network Connections or unplug your main RJ cable
5.) run LaunchGTAIV.exe again
6.) now Social club launches asking u to sign in, click on “Skip Login”
7.) You now have the options to play but dont click PLAY, close the dialog window.
8.) right click on LaunchGTAIV.exe and select Properties then put a check under Compatibility mode and select Windows 2000 then hit Apply and Ok
9.) Repeat step 8 for the file “GTAIV.exe”
10.) Reboot PC
11.) Located the “Rockstar Games Social Club” folder and execute the file “RGSCLauncher”
12.) Hit “Skip Login” and press PLAY

You need to be offline to play the game, if you have a firewall you should block the following “.exe” files:
LaunchGTAIV.exe
GTAIV.exe
RGSC.exe
If you take your time and follow these steps you can play the game without CAM SHAKE and other BUGS.
TIP: Once in game, hit the guide button and create a OFFLINE Profile to save your games.

How exactly without me wasting a good half hour doing this can you prove to me that this is gonna work ive looked at over 30 posts saying roughly the same crap and still it happens -.- if there isnt a decent crack later today ill just go buy it.

Use the files in their but use my instructions posted on forums.

why disconnect ethernet cable if Start – Run – Cmd – ipconfig /release works as well ;)
If you’ve done some of these steps and still get the shaky cam, make a new game instead of loading an old one. It worked for me.

I followed every step exactly, and I still got the drunken cam before the opening cutscene even finished. I should have just waited for a proper scene release instead of being impatient. That’s what I’m going to do now. They’ll figure something out, they always do.

I did just as Zazu told. Still wobbly camera.
Then i DID copy the paul.dll into the offline activation folder. Now it seems to work, Although the shadows in the game are very glitchy, maybe because i’ve got the wrong graphic drivers. Does anyone know?

I updated my graphic drivers. shadow glitch gone. I can drive and brake properly. need to see if it lasts, though.
i dont see why you guys are having so much trouble with this! i copied the cracked files to the game folder, set the gta launcher to run in win 2k compat mode, start game with the gta exe and voila game works fine just played it for 2 hours. this isnt complicated guys. also i was connected to the internet the whole time so ^_^
it’s not about copying files wrong… i am not that retard either other players are not aswell, and seriously for some players it’s working, but for most it’s not… so do not tell us that it’s easy beacuse obvioulsy you had just luck running it without camera bug :) so enjoy your bugged game which eats a lot more resources than it should ^.^
let’s just chill and wait for proper crack by reloaded or any other skilled group which can handle it :)

Hazzard, what’s your specs? Do you have like… an overclocked CPU/GPU, Quad-GPU setup or something?
it’s starting to look like ATI users can play,but NVIDIA users can’t or then it’s just luck

7. start social club in offline mode

Worked for about 15-20min. and camera problem started again.
There’s like timed activation for that camera thing this is crazy.
