    Some of his movies are decent but I can’t get over the fact that he’s Steven Seagall. I mean he always has his hair the same. He’s always dressing in black or dark colors. Always talks the same. Barely moves unless he is required to. Is always some of kind of agent or cop or something that happens to be an expert fighter.

    @DK – you forgot the movie with the coat with the silly narrow vertical stripes (black, red, white, IIRC) and love beads – looked like cheap couch upholstery or ugly 70’s wallpaper – And who can forget him as a US Army Officer in a ‘Class A’ Uniform and a pony-tail? Gaahhhk! XP

    He’s the only guy more wooden than Keanu Reeves – Even Jean Claude VanDamme has more acting skills & range!

    He had his time/moment… but those days are gone.
    He could do more decent in films now by just being a technical advisor or
    have a small role in movies… as say the trainer/instructor for some commando team lol,
    however still playing the lead roles in these is just sinking his image even further.

    Then again, it’s probably just money folks. He’s probably another celeb washing it all
    away in other things, and needs to make these movies for his debts (or one would hope that’s his motivation).

    If you don’t like him don’t watch it. It made me smile seeing it on here and seeing it was vampires made me chuckle. I can’t wait to sit down and watch another Seagal film today, I bet I get more enjoyment out of it than I did with Revolutionary Road!!!

    I think seagal makes decent movies but I do have to say this was one of the worst no talent, no sense, useless, pieces of crap I have ever tried to watch. Sorry S. S. fans.

    Or maybe he still makes movies because, I don’t know, it’s fun.

    Decent action movie. The other guy gets most of the harder scenes while Steven uses a sword a lot and takes out people with a couple quick swipes, but oh well. It’s too bad that with something like this it couldn’t be polished up “just that much.” You know, take out a couple cliches, a couple eye-rolling moments, a couple obviously-bad decisions by the characters, etc. I mean, tell an action fan “It’s Steven Seagal vs. vampires,” and you’ll already have their attention, so you may as well polish it up and go for a winner.

    If people want a more thoughtful “old action star” movie, if you haven’t already, you should be watching JCVD.

    Always a ex-cop, ex-soldier, ex-that etc.. in under siege he was a chef (thou, he still was a ex-navy seal, but anyways) His movies are great entertainment. Snap, crackle and pop!
    In one movie he had to use stuntman to run stairs, that was fun!
