r5 version without subs will coming in december (2 disk collectors edition)

I made a version that only displaces pixels where the subs are and only when they appear. It is very watchable. The source was 688 x 288 (I forget whose it was, but I think flawless) if the owner of that file wants my work please leave a message.
the only way to remove hardcoded subs is to crop or add a watermark over the subs..u cannot get rid of hard coded subs without damaging the video somehow. i think the previous releases were good except 4 the low quality DDC audio, so i think everyone should stop complaining unless you can do a better job or get your hands on a way better copy somehow.

I dont see why you guys have problems with multiple releases. I keep up with every single release just fine, and I usually know what the best version of a movie is for a certain format/size.
Choice is key. Idk why you guys only want a few choices, when often there will be something wrong with those few, which is why 10 more releases come out.
The white of the subs is brighter than almost anything in the video, so you can luma key it out and reveal pixels nearby that are not colored like the sub in a compositing program. Here is a frame that had subs on it that were ‘removed’ with this technique. Best of all, no frames are damaged that do not have subs in it (unlike blurring or cropping).
